CHIPS is a multi-disciplinary research team that aims to improve health outcomes by conducting clinically-relevant behavioral research. We help health care providers to help their patients reduce their risky behaviors. For almost 30 years, our research group has studied the attitudes and behaviors of health care providers and patients regarding HIV risk behaviors and other sensitive behavioral risk areas, such as domestic violence, substance use, obesity, and smoking.
